While I was watching TV at 6 AM today, this idea came to me. I loved it so much, I had to write it. This story is another gift drabble for my good friend, CelestialDeth. Stargazer is her OC. D-Cal is my OC. Transformers belongs to Hasbro. All that disclaimer-type stuff. Anyway, here we go.
"ICKY!"
D-Cal sighed and facepalmed. Out of all the bots available, Starscream had left it up to her to ensure that Stargazer reported to Shockwave. Unfortunately for the older trainee, the little green seekerlet was circling above her and refused to come down.
"C'mon, Star!" D-Cal groaned in exasperation, "We're going to be late!"
"No! ICKY!"
"Stargazer, Shockwave is not 'icky'! He has stuff to teach you!"
"Not want!" The seeker femmling pouted, hovering just out of D-Cal's reach.
"I'll show you how to create a simple holo-matrix!" D-Cal offered coaxingly
"NO!"
"Come on, don't you want to be a useful soldier in the great Decepticon empire?"
"NO!"
"Don't make me climb up there!"
The little seekerlet just flew up higher, increasing the adolescent femmbot's exasperation. Finally, after countless attempts to persuade the younger trainee to come down, D-Cal finally snapped. Placing her hands on her hips, she shouted, "I'm going to give you thirty astroseconds to come down here, or so help me I'll-!"
Her threat was cut off by a huge, black hand plucking Stargazer from the air. He addressed her in his deep, gravelly voice. He sounded almost amused. "Lost something, kid?"
D-Cal looked up at the taller con, a now very familiar blue seeker, and wondered what he was doing here. Said seeker removed a data pad from his subspace and handed it to D-Cal. "You forgot this."
D-Cal immediately thanked him for once again saving her behind. She then turned her attention back to Stargazer, who was now pouting on the ground. The moment Thundercracker was out of sight, the younger seeker fired up her little boosters and tried to fly away. Fortunately, her reluctant guide was prepared this time. The older femmling grabbed her by the ankle before she could get far. "Don't think so, Star."
Stargazer frowned and finally relented. She landed and allowed D-Cal to lead her in the direction of Shockwave's last known location. When they got there, the sight that greeted them was… unexpected. Smoke was still clearing out and Shockwave was covered in some unnamed gelatinous substance. If D-Cal had to guess, she'd figure either Skywarp or Rumble and Frenzy had to be involved somehow. Glancing at Shockwave and then at D-Cal, Stargazer lifted an arm and pointed at the purple Decepticon. With great finality, she declared, "Icky."
