I stare at the empty page, thinking. I bite on my pen and sigh. I start to scribble down words.
"I don't know what it is about him. Maybe it's his messy hair, or the way he smirks, or the way he can piss me off beyond belief, but still make me fall in love with him. He is charming, yet he makes me crazy! He makes me want to slap him across the face, then pin him against the wall and kiss him. I don't know what to do! I hate being in love with my step-brother!"
I sign it, like an autograph. Casey McDonald. I set my diary back under the pillow and go to restroom, I don't want to think about it anymore. When I come back, I decide to write some more on the subject. I reach for it under the pillow, but it's gone. That's when I hear his laughter.
.General.
Derek laughed as he heard Casey go back into the room. He started to read the diary with a smirk. "Emily, Emily, Emily, Emily." He turned the pages and checked the names. "Derek." He smirked and continued to read.
"Derek Venturi. He is loud and obnoxious and I don't like him one bit. But I hate to admit that I would, if my mom hadn't married George. He is gorgeous in every way. He has shaggy brown hair, and his eyes? Ugh, I could get lost in them! He has this smirk he does, and it drives me wild! I shouldn't think he is that cute, right?
Casey McDonald."
Derek stared at the page in disbelief. Casey McDonald thought he was cute. He flipped the pages and all he read about him was 'cute' or 'gorgeous' or that he 'got her riled up' in a way no one else could. He shuddered on his bed. Didn't he think the same about her, though?
"He pinned me against the wall today. God, I wish he would just kiss me already! I know he can see the UST as much as I can! Why can't he just kiss me? It would be fine, like I wouldn't freak out on him! Maybe I should just tell him...? Wait, bad idea!
Casey McDonald"
Derek smiled as he heard her pounding on his door. He walked over and unlocked it. She barged in and grabbed the diary out of his hands. "How much did you read?" She narrowed her eyes at him. He smirked.
"Enough." That's when he did something Casey never would have expected. He leaned in and kissed her passionately. She kissed him back, dropping the journal on the floor and entangling her hands in his hair. She softly moaned into him as he pushed her against the wall. He kissed down her neck as her breathing deepened.
"I love you, Derek." She moaned softly.
