"Doctor?" Sadie called as she bounded into the console room, scanning it quickly for the Time Lord. She didn't see him. She stepped closer to the center of the room, the metal panels beneath her feet rattling slightly. "Doctor, where are you?"

Below her, the tiny form of the Doctor clung to the metal of the flooring. He knew his TARDIS well, but he still didn't particularly want to fall down into it, especially given his current condition. He tightened his grip, as Sadie paced around the console room, the floor vibrating with her every step. He took advantage of a small lull in her movements to grab his trusted sonic screwdriver from his pocket. Luckily, it had come through the events that had transpired unscathed. He knew there was no way for him to possibly make himself heard, not given his current state, so other measures must be taken. He hoped Sadie wouldn't mind. He pointed the screwdriver in the direction of his companion and pressed the button.

"Ow!" Sadie screeched as a stinging pain surged through her ankle. She reached down to rub the offended area, and looked around for the source. A small blue blinking light, almost too small to warrant any notice, grabbed her attention and she moved cautiously towards it. She knelt on the floor of the TARDIS, squinting at the source of the light. Her eyes flew open in shock when she realized what - or who - was there.

"Doctor? Is that you?" It definitely looked like the Doctor, that was for sure, but he had...well, he had shrunk! By this time, the Doctor had managed to pull himself up, and was balancing precariously on the metal flooring. He motioned for Sadie to hold out her hand and she did. The Doctor swung himself onto it. "What on Earth happened to you?" she exclaimed, moving her hand closer to her face.

"I very much doubt it was anything on Earth that did this," the Doctor replied. "Earth won't have this type of technological advance for, oh, a few more centuries." He stuffed his hands in his pockets. Sadie recognized this as a warning sign that he was nearing one of his lengthy discourses, and cut him off quickly.

"Okay, okay...but what happened? What made you shrink? How long had you been down there? Oh man, what if you had fallen down into the TARDIS? I'd never have found you! And what if I had stepped on you?" She was rattling off questions in rapid-fire succession. The Doctor held up a hand and she trailed off.

"I have no idea what happened, I was only down there for a few minutes, and you didn't step on me - which is a trend I hope will continue. Take me over to the console, please?"

Sadie carefully carried him over. He lightly hopped from her hand, his miniature sneakers making a tiny sound. Sadie crouched down, so that she was eye level with him.

"So now what do we do?"
