The missing scene from ' Shattered' that we all kinda wanted to see. You know the one I'm talking about. ;}

The heel of his hand connected with Culross' nose and down he went. Elliot watched him go down, making sure he was out for the count.

He was.

Elliot ran back to Olivia. He'd caught sight of her chest rising and falling when he confronted Culross, so he knew she was alive. He checked her over for any blood before sinking to his knees beside her, his hand fumbling with her warm wrist.

"Liv? Olivia?"

He found a steady pulse and sighed in relief. He turned his attention to her face and gently swatted her cheek with the back of his hand.

"Olivia… Liv. C'mon, Liv…"

Her check twitched and she winced with a gentle sigh. "Hey, Liv." He coaxed. Her eyes slowly opened, and he couldn't help but silently thank God when those big chocolate eyes met his. "Morning."

"El?" Her voice was hoarse, "Elliot- this guy came, I felt an arm around-" She wrapped her elbow over her neck, trying to imitate what had happened. "Around me. He's-"

"He's over there." Elliot pointed to the body in front of the car. Olivia stared, her eyebrows wrinkled in confusion. She started to sit up, Elliot placing a guiding hand on her elbow.

"Nice, Stabler."

"Would you believe it? Down in one hit. Let's see what he knows about the kid."

"Nicholas isn't here, is he?" There was a hint of panic in her voice.

"No. But he-" Eliot motioned over his shoulder at the body on the floor, "probably knows where Nicholas is."

Liv nodded, and started to stand. Elliot helped her to her feet, watching for any sign of a stumble or weakness. She caught him staring.

"I'm fine, El." Her voice was back, her eyes once again meeting his. She was; he let go of her hand.

"Let's get him in a chair and ask him some questions. He's gotta know something."

Liv nodded and retrieved her dropped gun from underneath the pallets she'd fallen by. Elliot found a sturdy chair, and the two partners positioned the still-unconscious ex-Green Beret upright, feeding his arms underneath the chair's metal armrests and cuffing him tight. Elliot stole glances at Olivia, noting each time her free hand went to her neck to rub out the soreness.

"Is he supposed to be out this long?"

"I dunno. Guess I don't know my own strength." She snorted, turning back to the collages of pictures, maps, and careful notes on the whiteboards behind them.

"This guy really knew what he was doing." She paced in front of them, a hand still on her neck.

"Yeah, he took you down in five seconds. I'm worried about the kid." Elliot turned back to Culross.

"So ask him." Liv said, her eyes still on the collages.

"Hey, Culross! It's time to wake up!"
