Prologue

3rd Person Point of View

Taken Recapped

Bobby glanced back at Melana making sure she was still right behind him. It was her seventh birthday and like any hunter, she didn't want a toy. The only thing she wanted was to go on a hunting trip with her Daddy. Normally Bobby would have said no but it wasn't anything a hunter couldn't do at that age. After all, that is what she is and he as mise well teach her while he can. God forbid something would happen to him but a close friend of his John Winchester told Bobby if anything were to happen he would look over little Melana.

Melana was a curious girl so of course she was looking through every inch and crack of the house. Melana turned back were her dad had been but he was gone.

"Daddy?" Melana turned and smiled as she saw her dad standing at the end of the hallway. She started to run towards him as he turned down the hallway trying to catch up with him. It seemed every time she caught up with him he turned down another hallway. Melana sighed with relief as her dad finally stopped in one of the rooms.

"Daddy?" She whispered not wanting to alert the thing they were hunting. "Why were you running from me? Did it run in here?"

Bobby was becoming desperate, he only turned his head for a few seconds. He began running through the house shouting her name. Bobby stopped as he felt his heart break into a million pieces as he heard his little Melana scream.

"Ahhhh!" Melana screamed, wondering why this horrible monster would do this to her. "LEAVE ME ALONE, DADDY, HELP ME!"

Those were the last words he heard from his daughter.

So, if any of you read this story when I first wrote it in 2012, you know it is horribly written. So, finally, I have decided to rewrite it. While this might not be the best in the world, it is most certainly better than my previous writing of the story.

If you're new, thank you for taking the time to read this.
