Ah,this is my first submission to fanfiction. I hope you all like it! It's not very much, but I'm working on another story right now, which will be much longer and whatnot. If you can drop a review or something that'd be cool. It's not long, I'm just trying to get used to formatting text and what not,I hope I did everything right according to the rules. Thanks for viewing! :D
EDIT: Fanfiction apparently butchered the file,so I edited typos and errors. x_x Hope it's okay now!
Isuke let out a deep sigh, knowing this was going to be the stupidest and most boring thing she's done all year at Myojo Academy.
After Haruki had pleaded with her,she finally (and reluctantly) decided to go study with her at the academy's library. It was packed with most likely hundreds of books that varied in size, shape and genre. Isuke was almost amazed by the amount of books, mainly because she had never even come in the library. She sleeps through class, and has no need for school anyway. Why come in here?
Haruki hummed to herself, sitting down next to Isuke at a small table. She had collected a stack of six a one to Isuke, she pulled out a box of pocky.
Before she could put a stick in her mouth, the librarian appeared and snatched the box away. "No eating in the library, you hooligan." the lady whispered harshly, then walked away.
Isuke chuckled to herself. Yes, Haruki was indeed a hooligan.
Haruki scratched her head, waving her hand at the lady as she walked away. "Sorry,sorry.."
She turned to Isuke. "Alright, the next test Sensei is preparing for us is about the body. I found these books on the digestive system. I think we should make notes to study!" She whispered happily.
"Haha, because that sounds so fun." Isuke thought. She decided to go ahead and at least try, to shut the redhead up. She picked up a book and flipped through it. She had only read a few sentences before getting confused, and giving up.
Haruki started writing in a notebook. "Gastroenterology is the study of the digestive system, Isuke-sama. You can-"
Isuke glared at her, exclaiming, "I'm not doing anything, Isuke didn't even want to do this! Do it yourself."
Suddenly, a loud BANG! sound was heard, making both girls jump. Standing before them was the librarian again, holding a ruler that she had smacked on the table.
"Be quiet, this is a library." she spoke sternly.
"Excuse me? Isuke can be as loud as she wants. Plus, your fashion taste is worse than this idiot's." Isuke replied in annoyance, pointing at Haruki. Haruki waved her arms nervously, whispering, "Sorry,we'll be quiet; she didn't mean that-!"
Isuke kicked her under the table, while she did her best to not cry out in pain.
The lady nodded, giving them a suspicious look and walking back to her desk.
Haruki looked at Isuke with pleading eyes, whispering, "Isuke-sama, can you just help me study? Don't you want to make a good grade..?"
She stiffled a laugh. "No, I don't need a good grade. I'm not poor. Isuke doesn't need to worry about school, like some people."
"I guess there is no way to reason with you, huh?" Haruki sighed, "You really don't want to help me?"
Isuke looked at Haruki's eyes and got lost in them for a few seconds before snapping back to reality. She nodded finally, with a bored expression on her face.
"Isuke will help you, only because she knows you are nothing without her."
Haruki smiled sincerely, grabbing a pencil. "Alright,so.."
Isuke tried to help her write notes down and identify words. She wasn't very good, nor doing her best, but Haruki was grateful for it anyways. They went over it together for a little bit, before Isuke fell asleep.
"Isuke-sama..?" Haruki poked the pink-haired teenager. She tried her best to wake her up, but to no avail. She giggled, getting up and leaving the library.
The next week, Isuke managed to pass the test with a score of 70 out of 100.
