Enjolras is so angry at Grantaire. In the three years they had been a couple, he had never felt this angry.
Four missed calls all from Grantaire. Enjolras sat on his bed, and tried to calm himself down. The previous night had been nothing but screaming and fighting. Enjolras was, for the first time in his life, considering ending it. God, he was just so frustrated. He slammed his head into a pillow and let out a loud scream. When he sat up, he felt a little bit better. He opened up his laptop, only to find countless emails from Grantaire flooding his inbox. He slammed his laptop shut, once again furious with his lover. Enjolras looked around the room, looking for something to distract himself with while he calmed down. Enjolras spotted something across the room, it was a small book packed with memories.
Enjolras picked up book, and flipped it open. The book had been an anniversary present from Grantaire, given to Enjolras only a couple weeks before. Enjolras paged through the book, slowly letting the memories flood his mind. He found a page with a photograph oh himself.
His hair was tangled. His clothes were lying on the floor in the background. The morning sunlight was shining on his face, which was sleepy and unfocused. This was the first time he had spent the night at Grantaire's house. Grantaire had not let go of him the entire night. That was also the night he gave is virginity to Grantaire.
Smiling, Enjolras flipped to another page. There was a receipt for from Starbucks, and a photograph of the two of them sitting side by side in a coffee shop. This had been their first date, they ot coffee together. Grantaire had ordered Enjolras's coffee, he already knew Enjolras's favorite.
Enjolras gently closed the book. He set the book down on his bed, and decided he needed to talk with Grantaire. Maybe they should break up, it would probably be for the better anyways. He glanced outside, it was raining. He decided he wold drive over to Grantaire's house and just get it over with. He grabbed his coat, and headed towards the door.
When he opened his door, to his surprise, he found Grantaire already waiting for him. Grantaire's hair was soaking wet, for he had been waiting in the ran for hours. He held flowers in his hands, which he had tried to shield from the rain. Enjolras stood at the door for a moment, speechless. Unable to find the right words to say, he broke down into tears. Tears streamed down his cheek, as Enjolras threw himself into Grantaire's arms. He buried his face into Grantaire's jacket, holding his lover as tight as he could. Grantaire brought Enjolras back inside, and they both lied down on the couch together. They didn't say anything all night long. They just held each other close
When the morning light shone through the small windows, they both awaoke. Enjolras looked into Grantaire's eyes and said,
"I will always love you,"
Grantaire smiled.
"Forever and ever."
