Watch A Pro:

By: The BatThing

"Ugg, why me. I don't even like broccoli!" Bart Allen let out angrily as he slid the knife through the vegetable. "Why do I have to cut it if I won't eat it?"

"You know, I wonder that every morning as I wake." Max replied as he watched the boy with humor lined across his face. "Why do what we don't want to! Why do what we don't like to do? You really think I should start living like that?"

Bart lowered his head, considering the question. "If I know you there is a catch behind this."

"You are right, there is a catch. Its called you going staying locked in your room." Bart stuck out his tongue and continued cutting the vegetables. His golden yellow slowly caught sight of Max having a slight amount of trouble with the cauliflower he was slicing. "Here watch a pro!" The boy took the cauliflower with great speed and dug his knife into the plant. He let out a small shriek as the knife sliced into his thumb.

The boy drew away and instantly put his thumb in his mouth, looking at Max.

"Don't just stand there, go wash it and I'll get you a band-aid." The older man grumbled, annoyed at the youth. He watched Bart run down the hall to the bathroom, leap over the tall gate-guard they had, to keep Dox out of the area. "Watch a pro, what next?"

Bart lowered his hand into the sink and turned the water on. Waiting as his cut was clean. It was deep, but not bad. The boy drew away and dashed back to the kitchen at super speed, and attempted to jump the guard gate once more, yet his oversized foot caught onto it, causing the boy to go into a tumble and slam into the floor, his arms and legs went flying and his face hit the ground.

Dox, who had been napping woke, and seeing Bart on the ground leapt up, thinking his master wanted to play a game. He went into a licking and kissing frenzy, smothering the boy with doggy kisses.

Max held back a chuckle as the boy groaned, getting to his knees, and holding Dox back.

"Watch a pro indeed." Max let out as he waved a bright yellow band-aid in the air.

"I think I sprained my foot."

Merry Christmas! Even if they cancelled Impulse, that doesn't matter! I am still out here! Hehehehe!
