Silver Tear
*authors note: all of these characters are mine except for the Firebringer, excuse any inaccuracies please, but this is about a forgotten one, whose story I will fully narrarate later, for now let the poem tell Arath's story
When silver hooves burst through the lake The unicorns have come When silver horns thrust through the sky The warriors have come home When silver call echo through the air The Firebriner's here But through the mist you see her stand Unnoticed by the others Arath, the healers' daughter With golden hooves, and main, and tail And fur blacker than night She stands alone in her full majestic might But as the others draw nearer, she tends to draw away And all she leaves behind, is a single golden tear
Continued.. In years to come a mother will remember "Did not the healer have a daughter?" But when the others go in search of he All that they could find, is a single golden tear
