Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Keepers or Willa or Maybeck or Finn or Charlene or Philby or Willa's house or school (gladly) or anything else that might concern you!

This is my first story in several days, so I apologize! I had a 4H thing on Saturday and I couldn't stay up on Friday, and then I sort of relaxed instead of writing for a bit, which I know wasn't right (if it even bothered you). I actually wrote this because of a request from RecklessFlowerGirl, and I didn't write it by the time I said. So this is for you, even though you've already read it!

I did write this last night, but I didn't get in published this morning before school.

Willa Angelo slammed her backpack down on the floor of the front hallway and sat down on the couch in the living room. She was sick of school, sick of physics.

"Willa! Somebody is here for you!" Mrs. Angelo called, making Willa groan. Couldn't anybody give her some space?

"Why so depressed?" a voice said, entering the living room. Maybeck!

"Why are you here?" Willa blurted, unintentionally rude.

Maybeck held up his hands. "Whoah there, Willa! I'm just visiting. I thought maybe you were tired of real life? It's so boring compared to saving the world, isn't it?"

Willa couldn't help it. She laughed. "You have no idea. Well, maybe you do. Not many people would though."

Maybeck shrugged. "Can I help it if I happen to be awesome? You can't either!"

Willa giggled, mostly because he had called her awesome. "I guess not," she said, feeling considerably better.

"Of course you can't. I mean, we've got a lot on us. People expect us to be amazing, and, let's face it, we are."

Willa laughed again and rolled her eyes. "I don't think it's just like that," she said. "But maybe a little."

"I knew you could understand the way the world works, Wonderful Willa. I already understand, as Marvelous Maybeck."

Willa giggled. "How about Fabulous Finn and Charming Charlene and-well-it doesn't work for Philby."

Maybeck sighed. "I always knew one of our number just couldn't be cool enough. Of course, that isn't very nice..."

Willa shook her head. "Nope, it isn't. Don't you tell him either."

"Not if you ask that I don't," Maybeck said seriously. "I'd do anything for you."

Though he was joking, it wasn't like that. Willa let out a laugh and threw herself into his arms, wondering his she could ever have not loved the world.

Did you like it? I hope you did! Even after several days of break, that routine is still going ;)

Yes, please review! It makes me happy! You don't have to like it, you can critique it as much as you like!
