Hey there! This is an idea that has been nagging me for a while and even though Vassalord is not that popular yet, I hope that you still like it!

Disclaimer: I do not own Vassaslord, but the idea is still mine, please respect that!

His Savior:

Chris, Charley, Cherry…whatever people called him nowadays, had found refuge in religion when he had found himself alone again. He had done everything for the grave of God and was ridding the world of vampires - his own kind - to get into the Heavens. Being a vampire was considered a sin, and yet there he was, accepted because his faith was stronger than his instincts.

He had been changed by no other than his Master because he had not wanted to die yet. That's what he believed at least, but every now and then that he thought about it, he had to be more truthful with himself. Yes, he had not wanted to die, but to die would have meant to be apart from his Master, the only person who had truly cared for him. His dead heart ached when that notion crossed his mind. He could never be separated from that man ever again.

Chris could understand why he had been left at that church so many decades ago. It had been for his own good although he suspected his Master was not that pleased with him being such a religious man in the present times. Not everything goes according to plan now does it?

During his stay at the church, he had immersed himself into Christianity. How ironic that his first name had been Chris… He had needed another savior, someone or something who would drive him away from the insanity and loneliness creeping in. It suited him to have faith, to have something to believe in. Sometimes, back at the church, when he still left his door open - a habit that he had never been able to lose - he wondered if his Master had been the fruit of his imagination. Only a small part of him did though, for he knew deep in his bones that that man was out there in the world.

He was still a religious man now, (how could he not?) but his faith had been split as soon as he had found his Master again. Relief had killed any suspicion that the vampire standing in front of him had been a mirage. He had smiled, something he hadn't done in a long time.

Charley looked up at the man above him as the glasses that he really didn't need to wear were removed and discarded carefully on the nightstand.

"Chris…" His Master said quietly in a tone of voice that made him question why so many Christians, people who were part of his faith, alienated what he shared with another man. God would never forbid something that felt so right.

"Master…" Charley reached up to lightly cup the man's face. His Master smiled at him before leaning down.

And as their lips met, Chris, Charley, Cherry (or whatever people called him these days) felt engulfed by a light greater than the Heavens. It was his Savior's.

And here it is! Please leave a comment to tell me what you think about it!

I hope that no one got confused with me changing the names around. It was just to show that when he is Chris, it's in his past and that when he is Charley, it is his present.
