The war has ended they have won however Miori felt like she has lost.
She was staring out her window devoid of emotion. Her heart broken and shattered beyond repair.
She couldn't go back to her village now she has two kids of her own but how is she going to raise them in her current state?
Lucina looked at her hating the fact she was helpless and couldn't do anything to make her mother feel better.
Morgan had locked herself up refusing to leave to only eat and do other business.
"I succeeded...but failed...we won but I lost...I wasn't able..to protect him...I saw it coming..but was unable to move..." she thought hugging her knees tears streaming down her face. "I failed...as a wife...and as a mother...I don't know what to do...it just hurts...and it's suffocating me..."she thought to herself quietly clutching the blanket.
The children were also down their mother was broken and their father was no longer. They too are feeling the same suffocating pain but dealing with it in their own way.
"Why did it have to end up like this...we could've been happy...mom wouldn't have to suffer..." Lucina thought clutching her fists in frustration.
Miori looked out and saw someone...familiar. Her eyes widened "Hon...ey..." she asked leaving towards the empty space.
"Mom wait!" Lucina cried out "He's...calling me..." Miori said walking towards outside "Stop! That's not dad!" Lucina hollered. Morgan heard this and peered her head out. "What are you saying...that's your dad..." Miori said. Deep down everyone knew. "That's not him! It's no one! ad is...he is...HE IS GONE OKAY!?" Lucina shouted as tears started to fall from her face. Morgan hid behind her book biting her lip.
It was true. She had looked towards her room before she fell to her knees, tears hitting the floor. "We all hate the fact that he's gone too...but please...don't let the delusions consume you..." Lucina said.
She just broke out crying hard on the floor. The moment it sunk it hit her like a 100 bullets to her heart.
Her mind was wavering should she kill the bastards that took away their happiness...or she should try to raise her kids without a father...and how could she move on? She was devastated, hurt, broken, and depressed, along with vengeful, and angry.
