Ever Forever

He had a dream.

A crowd of blurred faces, passing by in an empty background. He didn't know who they were – it didn't matter who they were. As many people as there were, an empty background was an empty background.

Then, a silhouette caught his attention.

Tall, he was tall. A boy. His bangs, black. His clothes, long, black. His face, too, could not be seen.

But his presence, his mere presence was a contrast. His mere presence there was a clash in his world, and he ran. He ran and ran and when he reached him, he held onto him, and he cried.

A kiss to his forehead.

He looked up at the stranger. And the tears, he didn't know if they were of happiness or if they represented the emptiness in his stomach. In his whole.

A hand, so white, brushed the tears away gently.

A smile, so sincere. It brushed away the loneliness.

To feel alone in a crowd of so many people. Was it wrong? If it was wrong, why did it feel so right to be within those arms? Why was it there? Why was he there for him?

"Who are you?"

He woke up.

Raimei, Kouichi, Thobari, Yukimi. So many people around him. So many of them people who cared about him. So many people smiled at him when they saw him, but frowned when they noticed his state.

Was it wrong to feel alone in a crowd of so many people?

And the tears. He didn't know if they were of happiness or if they represented the emptiness in his stomach.

He wished he could remember the color of his eyes.
