Disclaimer: I don't own In Plain Sight

"Mom! Hurry up, we're going to be late!" yelled Norah up the stairs.

Mary came out of her room and frowned down at her daughter, "Late? To what?"

Norah rolled her 6-year-old eyes up at her mother, "Trick or treating mommy"

Imitating her daughter, Mary rolled her eyes too. Jumping when arms circled her swollen belly. "Damn it Marshall, don't sneak up on me!"

Grinning like a fool, Marshall just pulled her closer, groaning when Mary grind her hips against his. "Come on Mare, we're supposed to enjoy these moments"

"I'd enjoy them better if we stayed in and I could wear that naughty witch costume I bought" smiled Mary wickedly.

Groaning again, he moved his hands down to her hips, pulling her closer still. "That's how we got this." rubbing her belly. "And don't start something we can't finish, love" he growled into her ear.

Pulling away from him, Mary turned around in his embrace and lifted up to her toes to lightly kiss his lips. He tried to pull her close and deepen the kiss, but she pulled away and walked down the stairs. Marshall just stared after her pouting.

Norah must've gotten tired of waiting, because by the time Mary made it down, she was sitting on the last step chatting with her little 3-year-old brother Seth.

Smiling Mary shooed them away from the stairs, "Ok, let's go make a ridiculous spectacle with our neighbors."

Marshall frowned down at her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "It's not ridiculous!"

Looking down at herself, she growls, "I'm dressed like the damn Witch Glinda!"

"Momma, no bad words! And I love your costume. It's pretty" piped a smiling Norah by the door, ready to bolt.

Seth chimed in, "No bad wods Momma."

Mary looked at her daughter and smirked, she was dressed as Dorothy from the wizard of Oz. Her son was dressed as the Lion and her Doofus was dressed as the scarecrow. Looking over to the mirror she scowled at her own reflection. Never in her life did she think she would dress up for Halloween. But her family had changed her, and as much as she hated to admit it. She enjoyed it, not that she would ever tell them.

Scowling again, she muttered, "Lets just go, the sooner we trick or treat, the sooner I can come home and take this awful outfit off."

Marshall immediately walked over to the door and opened it. Holding it open with one hand, he waved his hand around and pointed out the door.

She walked by him and smirked, "You're such a dork and I'm warning you now, you're going to pay big for this"

"But I'm your dork! I can't wait to pay, you always make it worth my while" he pulled her close again and kissed her as he closed the door behind them. Moaning when she pulled away.

"Let's go Doofus!"

Mashall walked behind his family, never thought he'd get there with Mary. Sprinting to close the gap the other had made between them he wrapped his hands around her again. Chest to back they walked over to the first house.

The kids yelling, "Trick or tweat!"

A little something for Halloween! Happy Halloween peeps!
