Hey guys! This is my first Minecraft fic, and I hope you enjoy it!
"Cock-a-doodle-do!"
I groan and mutter some curses as I slowly awake from my blissful sleep. I wish I could throw that rooster into a lava pool. I slowly get up and make a cup of coffee with some cocoa beans I found in a chest yesterday. As it's brewing, I go put on my usual attire: A blue shirt and purple jeans. When I come out, I pour the coffee in to my mug that says "Worlds Best Miner!" around it. As I sip the coffee, I take a look around my house. It's not much, just a small wooden one-story house with a couch, fireplace, bookshelf and a bed. Once I'm done with my coffee I grab my diamond pickaxe that I crafted yesterday and set off towards the mine.
As I'm walking towards the mine, I take in the fresh air and look at all of the tall trees and animals. I walk for about 10 minutes before I reach a big tunnel in the ground, and I walk in to a gigantic mine. I immediately start mining some coal I found, hoping to craft some more torches when I get home. I take a good look around the dark, but dimly lit mine. As I'm looking, I spot some Lapis Lazuli ore, Redstone and Gold. But I don't care about any of those, all I care about is finding more diamonds. I mine, mine, and mine for about 4 hours before I finally find 4 blocks of diamond ore, and I mine it. I hear footsteps behind me, and I whip around to see my best friend, Brian.
"Hey Steve, what's goin' on? I see you found some more diamonds."
"Yeah," I said. "I'm doing pretty well, how about yourself?"
"Same as always. But one peculiar thing happened today."
"Yeah? What's that?" I ask.
Brian took in a long breath before answering. "I was walking home from getting supplies from the nearby village, and I heard heavy breathing behind me. I turned around to see a man that looked just like you, but he had empty, white eyes, like a ghost." explained Brian. "He ran off into a big bush, and I followed, only to see that he had disappeared."
I think before speaking. "Hmph. White eyes...I feel like I've heard of that before, but can't quite place my finger on it."
"No big deal," declared Brian. "What's important is that we get home before nightfall."
I agree, and we say our goodbyes then leave. It takes me less time to get home, since what Brian said had creeped me out a little. Though I feel like I'd heard of him before...Herabrino...? No...I'd have to think about it later. As I walk, I keep thinking I see a pair of white eyes off in the distance, but I ignore it, telling myself that it's just my imagination. When I get home, I put away my diamonds in my chest, then eat dinner. Once I'm done eating dinner, I take a quick bath in my small pond outside, then go to bed. As I'm trying to go to sleep, I couldn't help but think about what Brian had said. I thought for about 3 minutes, then it hit me.
"Herobrine!" I said aloud. That's his name! I'd have to tell Brian tomorrow. As I think about the day's events, I slowly fall into a deep, and blissful, sleep.
This took me awhile to plot out, and I thought it turned out well! I hope you think the same! Oh, in case you're wondering, you pronounce Herobrine like this: "Hair-OH-Br-In". Please R&R (Read and Review)!
