Summary: A series of poems, one for each episode of Season One.
Setting: During Season One.
Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who. If I did, I'd be rich.
Author's Notes: If you like them, please review. I only have so much time on my hands, and I don't want to use it writing poems unless I know people are reading and liking them.
Contains spoilers for Season One. (Are you kidding me? Each poem is like one big spoiler all by itself for the episode it's based on.)
Rose
She's just a young girl in a shop
She likes her life as it is now
Her job pays well, she likes her friends
And change, she thinks, she won't allow
But then that night they came alive
The plastic men who thought they'd won
So scared, until the stranger came
He took her hand and told her "Run"
She thought that was the last she'd seen
But next day he came to her door
He tried to leave but she refused
To let him go till she knew more
Her boyfriend was a plastic man
How could she not have realized?
The stranger tracked the signal with
His ship was that was bigger inside
Destroyed the Nestene Conciousness
Which saved her boyfriend and her mum
He told her that he traveled space
He asked and hoped that she would come
He's just a broken Time Lord man
Why would she want to join him?
He asked her once and she refused
He felt the light she gave grow dim
He broke his rule and asked again
And "time travel" was what he said
She left all that she'd ever know
And went to follow where he led
