I glared disdainfully at the man in front of me. "Top in the class , and still not smart enough for you . Well I guess who isn't staying in Erudite come Thursday . "My Dad stared at me in shock . 'You wouldn't leave us , "He put his hand on my shoulder. "Oh but wouldn't I ? I'm tired , goodnight ."I shrugged off his hand and stomped up the stairs to my room.
I was Erudite and it was logical I was the smartest of the decade according to my instructor but with the choosing ceremony only two days away and my aptitude test tomorrow I wasn't sure where I would end up .My friends said I was honest even though my honesty hurt sometimes ,I told them if they wanted to be lied to they should join Amity or better yet Abnegation. Yet my eyes always drifted to the Dauntless children arriving on the speeding train although I wasn't sure I would be brave enough to jump .I knew I couldn't make it in Amity like I said, brutally honest . Abnegation ,one word ,boring! I wasn't even sure where I wanted to be anymore, I would never admit it but it was scaring me.
My mother said she didn't would love me no matter what, my father wasn't so caring. I had spent an hour bickering with him over what I was to choose he said it was his decision and I am 100% positive it is not. Sleep finally found me and dreams came with blue sweaters over black shirts and white pants. Needless to say my decision wasn't going to be easy no matter how much I wished it would be.
"Good morning Alexandria!" My mother kissed my cheek and handed me a plate of bacon before sitting down with a book. I grimaced at my full name but ignored it and finished off my bacon."Time to go."I muttered to my nodded and smiled.I grabbed my bag before they could tell me goodbye.
Once at school I read my book until my name was called. "Alexandria Morgan!" I got up ready to face my fateful test.
