So... HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Today is Fathers Day where I live (which is Canada) so I wrote this story. The time this takes place is when Percy was 5. Smelly Gabe is not here yet Also read the story. I hope you like it!
Fathers Day Morning
Percy jumps out of bed. Trying to find a pencil and a paper.
"Percy! Breakfast is ready!"
"Coming mommy."
Okay. Got everything. He thought. He also started adding.
Pencil + Paper + Percy = Awesome letter for dad!
"Percy!"
Percy went to the kitchen. His mom was working on a small wedding with Gabe.
"Finally! Percy! Your breakfast is cold."
"BLUE PANCAKES!"
After Percy was finished his blue pancakes. He asked his mommy something:
"Can you help me with my Dads Day letter?"
"You mean Fathers Day letter."
"YES!"
For the rest of the day Percy was working on the letter until they noticed that it was already 5:00 o'clock. While Percy's mom was cooking dinner (Yes I know they missed lunch.) he was trying to finish his letter. When his mom finish cooking dinner he was finished writing his letter.
It said:
Daer Dad,
HI! I'm Percy. I leve live in newyurk New York . Today is Dads Day. Mommy siad said you love me. Do you love me. Happy dads day?!
Love
Percy
S.P P.S Mommy hapled helped me alott a lot.
They left the letter ready. Percy and his mom were eating dinner until something was burning.
"Mommy what's the smell."
Her eyes went wide. The stove was burning. She went to the cupboard and got a fire extinguisher. The fire kept increasing. The whole kitchen was on fire.
Don't worry. Mommy is going to save the day. Mommy always saves the day. I wish dad will save the day.
Then something magical happened. Something I can't even explain. The fire went off. The only thing that survived was the letter. That day Sally and Percy went to the beach and threw the letter into the ocean.
Percy never understood why.
Few Years Later
"Mom! I'm here!"
"I have a special letter for you."
Is it from school. Did they find out I was the one who put the ants in the teacher's desk.
"Okay."
She handed Percy the letter.
It said:
Dear Percy,
I do love you and don't think I don't.
From,
Father
P.S Thank you!
"Happy Fathers Day." He whispers.
