Inuy danced backwards, lightsaber humming viciously in the night air. Waving his blade in a crude semicircle, the crimson red blade skewered branches and burned the air itself. Jaka thrust his sword in a straight line to Inuy's heart. He parried by deflecting the blade to his left side the spun and kicked Jaka in the ribs. He stumbled backwards, almost dropping his saber as he fell to the ground. Inuy lunged at him, saber cutting downwards in an arc that would have sliced Jaka in half. Instead, Jaka leapt into the air with a Force-assisted jump and came down with a lazy diagonal arc at Inuy's left shoulder. Inuy flipped backwards, springing his blade into the air to deflect Jaka's attack. As Inuy landed, Jaka stepped in and thrust out his palm at Inuy's chest. Inuy flew backwards under the Force shove and bounced off a tree trunk, landing in the soft jungle soil face-first. He backflipped up onto his feet only to be met by a saber slash meant to decapitate him. He slammed his blade into his opponent's and the two beams of energy snapped and hissed like two snakes locked in mortal combat. Inuy flipped backwards again, catching Jaka's chin with the tip of his boot and landed expertly. Jaka however, landed hard on his back, the wind knocked out of him. Inuy put the blazing crimson beam to Jaka's throat.
"You done?"
Jaka merely smiled and knocked Inuy's blade aside. He sprung upwards and dived at Inuy in a series of hacks, slashes, and thrusts. Inuy countered with expert parries and went on the offensive. Jaka managed to block all of them but was backed up against a tree. He called upon the force and a boulder seemed to rise out of the ground like the undead. It flew toward Inuy and slammed into the ground in front of him as he dove back. A hail of smaller stones flew at him, some the size of a walnut, some the size of a head. His blade moved with a precision and speed able only by a Force-wielder. Each one of the stones was either sliced in half or disintegrated. The next projectile wasn't as easy: Jaka himself. He dove at Inuy with a Force strengthened downward slash so fast and hard that it drove Inuy to his knees. Jaka kneed Inuy in the chin and he sprawled back on the floor, blood spurting from his lips. Jaka kicked Inuy's saber away and put his to his defeated foe's throat.
"How about you? You done?"
Inuy smiled and got up.
"Well done, my friend. But next time you won't be so lucky."
"You didn't do so bad yourself. And we'll see about that."
Inuy picked up his dropped lightsaber and extinguished it.
"C'mon, I think Master Skywalker's got some Rynak soup for dinner"
"Awesome."
The two trainees walked back toward the Temple of Yavin chatting like old friends.
