Diane walked through the door and dropped her purse to the ground as her jacket slid off her shoulders and then kicked her heels off; leaving everything in a pile by the front door, as it slammed behind her.
She was somewhat glad that she was staying out at the farm tonight, even though she went straight upstairs.
"Diane?" Kurt asked as he looked out from the kitchen into the living room only to see the pile of belongings by the front door and heard the footsteps heading up the stairs.
He followed Diane up the flight of stairs and when he went into their bedroom and could hear the water running from the bathroom. Her clothes had been tossed onto the bed.
"Hey." Kurt said as he walked through the doorway and wrapped his arms around her.
Diane gave a half smile into the mirror at him as she removed the last of her makeup.
"Work sucks." Diane said turning around to face him; she was starting to get angry again.
Before Kurt could ask what happened she was answering his question, "Someone hacked the database and released the past two months of emails that everyone has sent. One of them has the- the gall to say that I needed to loosen up and if you would do a better job in the sack then I wouldn't have a stick up my ass."
Her voice rose and fell angrily as she spoke, but Kurt didn't know if he should laugh or be seriously offended.
"Would it help if I did a better job in the sack?" Kurt asked trying to lighten the mood.
"Probably not. Can we just go to bed?" Diane asked moving past him toward his dresser drawer for one of his shirts.
"Let me go clean up the kitchen. Get into bed and I will be up in a second." Kurt kissed her head as he passed by and walked out of their room toward the steps.
"Okay." She responded as he left the room.
10 Minutes Later
"Everything will clear up tomorrow. It always does." Kurt told Diane ask he crawled into bed and pulled her close to him.
