"At last, we are finally reunited…" A voice cut through the darkness of an abandoned laboratory.

"No, I told them that nothing would stop me…" (A/ N: Thought I toldja that we won't stop! Thought I toldja that we won't stop!) The voice continued, now accompanied by heavy stomps of approaching foot steps. A blob of flesh remained in its docile state of suspended animation, showing no sign of mental awareness or life in any matter. It was confined in a steel tank, filled with chemical restorative. A gloved hand lightly pressed itself against the glass window of the tank.

"Mother, I shall free you from these foolish humans, and together we'll rule this planet." The hand withdrew and curled into a fist. Then with amazing force, crashed its way through the tank, shattering it. Jenova came plopping down and out onto the floor. The putrid stench of old chemicals sliced through the air as it spilled out and puddled around the feet of the intruder. Sephiroth smirked indignantly as he scooped up the mass of his mother and flung it over his shoulder.

Sephiroth took a quick look around the place, wondering if he should make a flashy exit. While he stood there in enveloped thought, a small tremor began under his feet. Nothing too critical, barely noticeable. Not until the floor began earth quaking did he realize something wasn't quite right.

"What's this?!" He looked down, clinging tight to his Jenova. The floor began cracking down the center between his feet. A bright beam of light shot out from the foundation, blinding him. He covered his eyes, trying to decide what to do. He didn't want to run away like a pansy. But he was a little unnerved by the turn of events. The light grew brighter before parting the floor beneath him in two, forcing the One-winged angel into a very uncomfortable split.

"Yeeeeep!" He squawked trying to scrambling into an up right position. But since the chemicals were making the floor slippery, that wasn't going to happen. Instead with a yell, he fell down into the cracks, twirling downwards into pitch- black oblivion…

Cloud stood dumbfounded , looking around the room that he had just fell into. "It stretches for eternity…" He mumbled to himself. It was completely black. Only the light that shined from the stained glass floor illuminated the space around him. He walked along the floor until he came upon the edge.

"There's nothing down there. Where is this place?"

A distant yell took his mind off of his inquisitive thoughts. It grew louder and louder until a person from up above came into view. Cloud squinted to make sure he was seeing right.

"Aaaah-oomph!!" A silver haired man slammed face first into the glass floor, miraculously not cracking it.

"Sephiroth?!" Cloud ran up to him, Buster sword in hand. "So this is another illusion of yours!" Sephiroth groaned into the glass. He decided he wouldn't reply until his head quit pounding. Cloud watched him closely. It seemed like Sephiroth didn't plan on hitting the floor like that. Maybe this wasn't Sephiroth's doing. (A/N: Ya think?)

There wasn't really time for Cloud to further interrogate his arch enemy before the sound of more people echoed through out the area. One by one, more bodies fell from above and landed on top of the fallen Ex-General.

Thirteen bodies later, everyone climbed to their feet. Looking as if what all was happening was a dream.

"Ok, what the hell is goin' on?!" Cid shouted suddenly. "Who are all you people?!"

"That's what I would like to know…" Sora rubbed his head slowly before turning to Riku. "Do you know what's going on?"

"How am I suppose-…If I did, what would you give me?" Riku grinned in expectation. Kairi giggled her dorky laugh of doom.

Inuyasha growled and walked towards the middle of the floor. He would get down to the bottom of this. "Well…wait!" He sniffed the air before turning to his immediate left. "Naraku!"

"Inuyasha…" Naraku trailed off and never continued.

"Well if it isn't two good-for-nothing half-breeds.." Jaken popped out of no where, with Sesshomaru standing behind him. "Mi'lord, would you like ME to rid you of these two?"

"Jaken, be quiet." Sesshomaru warned as he himself tried to piece together what was going on.

"Now, now…Let's all try to settle down and figure this out." Aeris emerged from behind Tifa.

"Mwahahahaha! Look at all this exquisite darkness!!" Ansem spun around with open arms, nearly spinning right off the edge of the glassed floor.

Leon fired the Gun Blade into the air. "Alright! Everyone calm down!" A chunk of rubbery flesh fell from above at that moment and hit the floor with a sickening splat.

"EEeeeewww…." Everybody groaned in unison , all except Sephiroth who gasped.

"Mother!!" He raced across the floor and slid to Jenova, cradling it against his body. "You've made it here! So it IS our destiny to rule over these primitive humans!" He went on with this nonsensical jabber for a good fifteen minutes until a mysterious voice told him to shut the hell up.

"Now, then…" The voice boomed from nowhere. "Choose your weapon- I mean… destiny…" Fourteen keys rained from above and landed on pillars around them. After no one made an effort to move, the voice boomed again. "CHOOSE BITCHES!"
