Author's Note- Imagine Drabble #14! Wow, I've done a lot of these. Probably more than is healthy. Oh well! Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural or the imagine that I'm using. Just how I interpreted it and my character Haven.

Proud of My Guardian

Haven was breathing heavily as she ran from the demon. She'd gotten separated from Dean and Sam and now she was in trouble. She could hear the demon getting closer when suddenly a large man appeared in front of her.

"Gadreel?" she asked in disbelief. The angel nodded as he led her away. "What are you doing here?"

"I am your guardian angel," he answered. She couldn't help but wonder why he seemed upset about that.

"Oh. Um, cool," she replied. At that moment, the demon rounded the corner and sneered as Gadreel moved Haven behind.

"Well, look who it is? A homeless little angel. And a pathetic hunter," the demon said with a laugh.

"Do not come any closer," Gadreel commanded.

"Like that's going to happen." The demon charged and Gadreel pulled an angel blade out of nowhere, stabbing the demon in the chest.

"Now that you are safe, we need to talk," the angel said.

"Okay. Let's talk," Haven replied. Gadreel found.

"I would like to speak with you somewhere…more comfortable. For your sake." Haven rolled her eyes but smiled as they headed back towards the Impala.

Back in the bunker, Haven led Gadreel to her room to have their talk. She had just sat down on her bed when Gadreel kneeled in front of her.

"Why are you kneeling?" the hunter asked. He looked up with a distressed look on his face.

"I'm only going to mess this up. Just like The Garden. I don't deserve to be your guardian," he said quietly, dropping his head again. Haven put a gentle hand under his chin and made him look up at her.

"You did great today. You've changed since The Garden. I'm proud to have you as my guardian angel. And I'll gladly tell anyone who ever tries to hurt me that I'm protected by Gadreel," Haven told him. He stared back, disbelief clear on his face.

"You're proud…to have me?" he asked. Haven laughed and pressed a kiss to his forehead.

"Yes. Very proud. Will you stay with me while I sleep?" she replied.

"Of course." Haven climbed into bed and Gadreel laid beside her, wrapping his arms around her. As she drifted off, a small smile on her face, the angel thought that maybe he could be a good guardian.
