So I've decided to something a bit different and write a Percy Jackson fanfic. This is my first go at writing PJatO. Hope you Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Unfortunately I'm not Rick Riordan and don't own Percy Jackson. If I did The Stolls and Katie would be in the books more.

It had been three years since Katie had left Camp Half-Blood to study in Washington State. She had one more year left studying Environmental Studies at Evergreen State College, Olympia. So she'd decided to visit camp again.
The first year after she'd left she came back to visit every couple of months and stayed for the summer. But then she met Dane.
Dane, the gorgeous blonde senior that every freshman girl (and some boys) wanted. And he noticed her. Plain old Katie. Katie with straight blonde hair, green eyes and a face dotted with freckles from hours in the sun working in the strawberry fields. As cheesy as it was, it was love at first sight. And suddenly she forgot all about Camp Half-Blood, all about monsters, even about being the daughter of a Greek Goddess. The only person she could focus on was Dane.
She looked down at the silver band with a diamond fitted in the center that was on her wedding finger. For some reason it didn't give her the right feeling. She couldn't explain it any other way, just not right. But she's said yes and now at 21 she was engaged to someone who didn't feel right. She loved him very much, but was it the same love she should have for her future husband?
The taxi stopped. Katie got out and paid the driver. She made her way towards her old home.
She met Chiron at camp border who welcomed her back and told her she could stay as long as she wanted. She'd always liked Chiron, he was kind yet a strong leader. She looked up to him.
She was in the Demeter cabin unpacking when she was tackled in a bone-cracking hug. She was rather surprised since it was the middle of the day and everyone was supposed to be in training.
"I've missed you so much, Kates." Miranda squealed.
"Miss you too, Mands. But can you get off I can't breath." Katie gasped.
"Oh, sorry." She chirped letting her go. Miranda was her favourite half-sibling, they were best friends.
"So, tell me everything. How have you been?" Miranda asked.
"Okay, give me a minute to finish unpacking and then we'll go for a walk around camp and I'll tell you everything."

~*~LINEBREAK~*~

"...And he asked me to marry him." Katie finished, showing her ring to Miranda. They stopped just outside Hera's cabin. Camp hadn't changed at all since Katie had left. Most of her friends who were here before were at college themselves or still here. She hadn't realised how much she'd missed camp until now.
"Wow, the diamond is huge! Katie you're so lucky." Miranda giggled like a daughter of Aphrodite.
"HEY GARDNER!" Katie turned to see the person who'd shouted her name and saw a mop of curly brown hair and blue eyes walking towards her.
"Stoll," she said smiling.
"It's been too long," He smiled, engulfing her in a friendly hug." How have you been?"
"Good, good. I'm engaged." She smiled showing her ring to him.
"Don't show the Aphrodite cabin they'll have your head for destroying Tra-" Miranda elbowed him the ribs. Katie gave her a confused look. "Well, anyway," He carried on, "I have sword training now. I'll see you at Percy's party tonight?" He asked backing away.
"Yeah, sure I'll be there." Katie replied.
"See ya then Kates." He said turning around to leave.
"Oh, Conner!" He stopped. " Say hello to Travis for me."
"Sure will, Katie." And he left

First chapter. Sorry it's short the next one should be longer. Hope you enjoyed! :D
