Elizabeth was tired and sore and wanted nothing more than to see her beloved Will again. She had seen the strangest things in the world, been chased by things that weren't dead but they were not alive either and yet tried to kill her all the same. She had seen ghost ships rise up from the depths of the ocean and men with barnacles growing on them. And to top that all off, she was stranded right now on an island with a deceptive pirate that she only tolerated on a good day and hated most other times, the man whose proposal she had rejected and had since become a drunken good for nothing, and two pirates that were perhaps the stupidest men she had ever met. And to top that all off, she couldn't even go home to Port Royal if she had wanted to because she would be arrested and most likely hung on the spot because she had run away when she was supposed to be in prison.

Jack was rambling on in the distance, something about the trunk and how Norington needed to dig faster. But Elizabeth couldn't bring herself to care. She was done and wanted nothing more than to sit down and not think for a minute or two. She had been robbed of her wedding and hadn't been able to spend more than two minutes alone with the man that she loved since then, and even that little time had been what seemed ages ago.

"Jack!" someone yelled out from the distance.

Great, Elizabeth thought to herself, more people to add to the motley group we have. I wonder who he is and what he'll do to annoy me.

"Jack!" the voice called out again, this time from a closer distance.

Elizabeth turned to see who was approaching, but the sun was in her eyes. All she could make out was the silhouette of a tall man with broad shoulders walking towards them. But it was the shape of a man she would recognize anywhere.

"WILL!" she yelled as she stood up and started running towards him.

"Elizabeth?" she heard him say confused, but not in a bad way. A grin broke out on his face, and Elizabeth ran faster towards him.

When she finally reached him, she threw herself at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. His arms caught her around her waist, and she buried her face in his neck. "Will," she said again, relieved that she was finally with him, no matter where they were or what they had to face. Being in his arms was enough for her. She looked up into his eyes and kissed him for all she was worth.

Author's Note:

So, sadly, I do not own Pirates of the Caribbean. Any of them. Or I would be Elizabeth Swan. And I would be way better than she is. I don't know why, but she bugs me. So does Jack. I'm realizing the more that I watch the movies, the more that he really is just out for himself. But I like Will. And I think that he deserves someone better than who he gets. Just my opinion. So, review please. Good, bad, let me know. Thanks!
