This is my attempt at making lyrics for this song. This song is actually suppose to be by James Sunderland's point of view at the end of the game cause it talks about when he and we find our true selves. I guess though this song is also just about the town and everyone who enters it. On an interview for Silent Hill origins, the person who was being interviewed said something along the lines of that the Silent hill games all deal with characters who come to the town only to discover the truths about themselves, so this song talks about James after he discovers what he had really done and how he doesn't really think of himself as the same person anymore. I'm working on lyrics for Promise too from Mary's point of view, but that song is hard to sing along to! Anyway, hope you enjoy. I really can't tell you where the pauses are in the song and where your suppose to start at places, so your just gonna have to wing it.
Disclaimer—I don't own anything having to due with Konami or Silent Hill.
I sit in this town, there's no one around.
As I wait, for it all to pass.
Oh won't someone come save me from myself and from what I have become?
Here in this town our true selves sleep,
In this dark abyss of memories.
This town only shows, what's ours to keep.
The fog starts to swirl and thicken.
The darkness of our minds starts to awaken.
Someone come save me from myself,
Save me where I dwell.
Someone come save me from this town,
That speaks of a love worse than hell.
Someone come save me from this town.
Someone come save me from this town.
Someone come save me from this town.
Someone come save me from this town.
I sit in this town, there's no one around,
Only souls that were never found.
Here in this town that takes all.
Here where ourselves we call.
Here in this town our true selves sleep,
In this dark abyss of memories.
This town is our own, where we all call home.
In this town.
They sense us near.
We're never alone.
Here.
