A sad, fluffy little One-Shot which I wrote in like fifteen minutes. OTTRA.
A/N: Nope, I don't own H.I.V.E, wish I could though. I also don't own the title, which I stole from a line in one of Fall Out Boy's song called HUM HALLELUJAH. 3
Please review, that would be nice. 3 you all xx
Oh, fyi this happens AFTER H.I.V.E.
Otto took Laura to a beautiful green field with pink flowers covering all the trees. Not one cloud appeared in the blue, blue sky, and the sun radiated the whole place. A slight shimmer of purple dust filled the air. It was all so beautiful. At the end of the field, there was a crack in the ground, which led down to a little blue line which turned out to be a river down below. On the other side of the crack, there was another field full of butterflies in all sorts of colors.
Laura was amazed. It was wonderful. She especially liked the wooden bridge that hung across the crack. She felt a hand on hers, and she smiled. Their fingers entwined. Otto led her to the very edge, and they sat down there.
"It's so pretty," Laura whispered, gazing down at the river. She slipped a bit and Otto steadied her. He slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her close. Laura snuggled into his chest and Otto breathed in her light, flowery scent. He kissed the top of her head. His other hand went to his pocket, where a little green velvet box lay. He couldn't do it. The dread of her saying 'no' was overwhelming. He opened the box and fingered the silver and emerald ring that sat in a little cushion. He closed the box and sighed.
"Laura?" he said, pulling away from her warm body. She dangled her legs from the edge, and looked up to where Otto was kneeling down.
"You see-" his voice broke. "I-" He croaked. He cleared his throat and ran a hand through his hair. Laura was still searching his face.
"Well…I wanted to…" he groaned and just let it out. "Will you marry me?", and he slipped the box from his pocket and opened it. Laura covered her mouth with her hands and gasped, her amazing green eyes wide. Otto bit his lip. His heart was drumming inside his chest. Laura took her hands from her mouth and put them on her lap.
"I…" she whispered, trailing off. "Yes," she said, her voice soft and smooth. Otto immediately wrapped her in a hug and kissed her.
"I love you," Laura murmured into his shoulder.
"I love you too," Otto whispered. He took the ring from the little cushion inside the box, and reached out to Laura's hand. But before he could slip it on, Laura slipped on the grass and lost balance. Laura screamed and fell. Down, down, down. Through the deep wide crack.
"Laura!" Otto screamed, looking into the goddamned crevice. Tears fell down his cheeks and sobs escaped his mouth. He went on like that until he heard a distant splash of water, coming from below.
Sorry about that sad ending, couldn't help it. ;( I know I already asked, but please review 3
