This is set just before Luke visits Annabeth and asks her to run away with him. So before Battle of the Labyrinth. Review please.
Disclaimer: Percy Jackson and the Olympians all belong to Rick Riordan, who is such a good writer I'm pretty sure he's a minor god, who's the god of writing amazing stories or something :D
Luke wanted out. He hated himself, he hated what he'd become. He knew he only had a few months, a few months before it would be really too late. He needed help though. He wished he could just go back in time, back to when he, Thalia and Annabeth hunted monsters on his own, back when Thalia had loved him, back when they were a little family. His family had been great but all good things had to come to an end. He loved Grover like a brother, but if Grover hadn't found them, they could all be together still, happy families. But it was too late now. He had loved Thalia and Thalia had loved him too. Now Thalia was a follower of Artemis. Luke could never be with Thalia again. Thalia couldn't help him out of the mess he was in. The mess he'd got into for her. The only reason he had ever joined Kronos was to get Thalia back. That was Kronos' plan and it was Luke's plan as well. He just hadn't considered how he was going to leave Kronos. He had just assumed that when Thalia came back, everything would be as it had before. Their family would be whole again. But it was too late now. Thalia couldn't help him. But Annabeth might. And if Annabeth was with him, might Thalia be persuaded to leave Artemis? It was worth a try. He would go to Annabeth's house and convince her. Annabeth had always loved him. He could surely get her to do this for him? Surely she would join his family? And everything would be as it was meant to be. Luke and Thalia. Annabeth with them as well fighting monsters, together, in their family. As it was meant to be.
Is it just me that thinks Luke and Thalia would be really good together? Just the way he gets all angry at the gods because of her... I think they would have been good together if he hadn't turned evil and she hadn't become a hunter. Your thoughts? Review
