"Katara!" Gran Gran yelled
"Yes! I'm here!" I yelled back, I knew that today I was making the worst decision of my life. I rubbed the tears from my eyes as I felt another kick. I rubbed my belly to make it stop. He really thought that it was his.
"Katara put on your dress." she said, but paused once she saw my blood struck eyes. She went over to my side. "What's wrong Katara?"
"I can't" I said "Every time I think about our baby… I feel so hurt, because it's not his."
"Katara…" she started
"What?" I asked/yelled "You know what I'm to do! I loved him. But not the way he loved me. I loved someone else and we made the bad choice." As I started to yell Aang burst through the door. I decided to tell him, tell him that it was off. But not tell him that it was not his baby.
"Katara, I heard yelling. Are you ok?" he asked very cautiously
"No. I'm not ok. It's off." I said as I took my hand to my neck. I felt the necklace one last time as I ripped it off my neck and threw it to the floor. "I love you Aang." I said I could see tears running down his face "But not the way you love me." I finished as I walked out of the room to go find Sokka, Suki, Dad, Toph, or Zuko… Zuko… he was always there for me. He was always there when I got hurt; he was always there to protect me. I looked down at my stomach, and put my hand on it. I hope our daughter has amber eyes and wavy brown hair. With motherly instincts like me, and is fierce like Zuko.
I walked to my room and slammed my door shut. I was pissed that Mai never understood the meaning of 'It will never work out.' But now I'm ready to ask the question to another girl. Who I loved since the day I first joined the Gaang. But I know that she was marrying Aang, and that she would never break his heart on the wedding day.
Knock Knock
I answered the door to find a sad Katara in my presence.
"I did it." She said
"Did what?" I asked
"You idiot! I broke up with Aang!" she yelled and started to cry even more.
"Please Katara, don't cry. It's not good for the baby." I said "Can you do me a favor?"
"What?" she asked
"Marry Me?" I said, I cringed because I never knew what she would say back.
