It was over. All over he had nothing left, just standing on the ledge before jumping Yamamoto took a quick moment to think if he regretted anything. No, no he didn't. Looking back one more time to see if HE was there but saw no one.

"I guess no one would really miss me", he said with a sad smile on his face as he was about to jump.

"Yamamoto don't", those two words made him stop in his tracks. Looking back Yamamoto saw the brown spiky haired boy panting with his hands on his knees.

"Tsuna if you're here to stop me don't I've made up my mind", said Yamamoto as he looked out at the sky. Tsuna looked up at Yamamoto with sadness in his eyes.

"Yamamoto why are you doing this? I know that you broke your arm but it can be repaired in a couple of weeks you have things to look up for… a lot more than I do", Tsuna said the last part more to himself then Yamamoto, but he heard it.

"What do you mean Tsuna?" asked the baseball player. He knew that Tsuna was Dame-Tsuna but still there has to be something that he looks forward to on a daily bases. "Saying you're so frustrated that you want to die, or you want to die because of a career ending accident… Unlike you, I've never had those kinds of intense thoughts. In fact, I'm a pathetic person (1).", said Tsuna as he looked at the ground. "In reality I think that our positions should be reversed but I guess I could always be Dame-Tsuna for everyone" Said Tsuna as he looked up at Yamamoto holding back his tears. Shocked to hear this Yamamoto really had nothing to die for. That he was being the most selfish he had ever been. He had a broken arm that can be repaired like Tsuna said, but now looking down at the small brunet he could see how much Tsuna was really affected at what was happening at school.

Smiling softly Yamamoto climbed back over the fence and hugged Tsuna.

"I'm sorry Tsuna for being so selfish. You know if you ever need to talk to me just do it, don't let others intimidate you like Machida or the guys at school making you be last just because sports aren't your thing", said Yamamoto. As soon as Tsuna heard a rainstorm flash before his eyes as he closed his eyes and burired his head in to Yamamoto embrace, happy that he has a new friend that really understood him. Tsuna then looked up at Yamamoto

"Rain of requiem", said Tsuna softly as he closed his eyes. Yamamoto blinked a little surprised at what Tsuna had just said. 'Rain huh? I guess I could be rain if you think about it' he thought .

"Yamamoto?" asked Tsuna as he looked up at the baseball player can we stay here for a little bit?", he asked as he suddenly felt sleepy, his eyes slowly closing so that they were half lidded. Yamamoto smiled

"Sure I don't think anyone will bother us", he said with a smile as he sat down and Tsuna did so to and soon was leaning on his shoulder for comfort before the smells of Yamamoto came wafting to his nose. The smells of freshly cut grass and dirt, his soap, and something else that just seemed to be right for Yamamoto came to his nose making him even sleepier.

Yamamoto and Tsuna sat there in silence for five minutes just enjoying each other's company until Yamamoto heard soft snores coming from Tsuna. Smiling, Yamamoto looked down at the brunet and brushed some of his bangs out of his face.

"Thank you, Tsuna", he said quietly so that he wouldn't disturb the sleeping student. "Because if it wasn't for you I most likely would have jumped and wouldn't be here to enjoy the rest of my life with you", he said as he leaned forward slightly and kissed the top of Tsuna's forehead.

(1) it was taken right out of the manga so I'm sighting it here "THOSE WERE NOT MY WORDS!"
