The sun rises over a gleaming forest. The uninhabited forest is deprived of human life and carries an ominous atmosphere to those who dare step into the forest. The last being to step in the forest was never found and was presumed dead. As one-steps into the forest the sensations are mystical. One can feel the spirits the forest holds and the spirits that protect this sacred forest. As one venture further into the forest one finds a surreal lake. The water is a blue of the purest kind and clear as crystal. One sees much wild life and none has dared to disturb the peace achieve in this lake. The life here is a perfection that can only be sustained in a factious world. Here lies a single cabin. Though the forest is thought to be untouched by any human life one soul dares to live in the forest. This man's story carries enough experiences to fill thousands of men. This man searches for an escape from the life he previously had and the troubles he never wanted. Though his stay with the girl was a short one the memories he received from that one summer are enough to fill his mind for a lifetime. This man we speak of is Mako. He begins to reminisce these memories by the lonely fire in his small cabin. Along side him is a platypusbear cub that has become Mako's companion over the long years he has spent in the mysterious forest.
Mako rises from his chair to reach for his cup of jasmine tea and watches the roaring fire. Though outside the weather is warm, inside the cabin never seizes to be cold. Mako then decides to take his platypusbear cub outside so he can go hunt. Mako hates going outside because everything reminds him of her. The lake as blue as her eyes, the sun as bright as her smile. He quickly grows depressed and calls out for his cub, "Bo!" The name sadly reminds him of the past he has run away from and the brother he deserted. Though Bolin was able to support himself Mako felt no less guilt in fact it pained him more that he forced his brother to grow up without him in these key years of adulthood. These thoughts of him or of anything lead back to her. Her. Her. The girl who pouted when she didn't get her way, the girl who could lift the energy in a room by just smiling. Oh Spirits Mako missed that girl. Though he tried to escape it he could never hide himself from the memories of the summer he spent in Republic City with Avatar Korra.
