She slowly opened her eyes, promptly realising she'd left the curtains open. The summer sun in her eyes was not quite a good way to start the day in her opinion. With a stretch and a yawn many would consider adorable, she struggled her way out of bed.
This was a reasonably GOOD start for Ivory. Decent night sleep, woke up okay, all good. Now the real challenge presented itself.
Rubbing her eyes to clear the crust and dust away, she walked into the bathroom to gaze into the mirror…or what was left of it. She wasn't overly keen on herself. Low self-esteem will do that.
But today, something was different. Today, Ivory saw something more than a human-sized bag of despair and self-loathing. She saw hope. It didn't take long for the reason to present itself.
"Hogging the mirror again?", a familiar voice questioned from behind.
Ivory turned. There was the reason. She took a moment to respond, still processing the fact that this was a reality. Her attention was quickly brought back by the sound of snapping fingers.
"Helllooooo? Sephy calling! do you accept the charges?"
Before she had a chance to say anything else, it was too late. Ivory squeezed Sephy tightly, giving what they'd coined "The Überhug".
