"Somewhere in the Future"
Somewhere in the future I am already dead.
Somewhere in the future I'm maybe dying.
That is, of course, if you believe there is a timeline that we are able to create. That our 'destiny' is what we make of it.
If I'd chose to start smoking today, I'd be responsible for dying 'too soon'…
Considering I was able to go back to a past time I didn't even exist in, while the present time did not stand still, yet somehow changed anyway, it makes sense that we can control the way our life would look like.
I was in a place that the sentence "I'm present in the past" could have made sense.
I literally changed the past, and it changed the present and the future, but still, it's almost the same. It was so simple for me to just cease to exist in that timeline, but here I am.
So, why is it so difficult for people to believe they can change things in their lives? You don't have to time-travel in order to do it.
Our life is built from a thing called 'Cause and Effect'.
Every choice that we make determines the way our future is set to be.
That's why I choose to be happy; to believe in good; to help people achieve their happiness. That is why I am alive.
It's not the same as living. I truly am feeling alive.
And when I die, a far away day from today, I hope, I'd die satisfied, because I was able to make the people around me happy; without letting go of my own happiness.
So when you read this, years from today, let the people around you know that… life is what we make of it. We have to choose to see the better side of the world.
Look at me, with my boy and my family and the one that I love.
What more could I wish for?
