Astoria looked at her boyfriend as if he was mad.

"Don't look at me like that, Astoria," Harry said shaking his head.

"You know I don't like brooms, Harry," she said eyeing the Firebolt as if it offended her by just being there.

"Where's the fun without a bit of risk?" he said teasingly.

"Harry-"

"Do you trust me, Astoria?"

"You know I do, Harry," she replied.

"Then why don't you let me take you flying? I won't let you fall, I promise," Harry said trying to reassure her.

"Okay but if I do fall, we're breaking up."

After a few shaky starts, Astoria held onto Harry behind as he flew them around the quidditch pitch steadily getting higher and higher.

She could see why her boyfriend was drawn to flying; it was peaceful and calming. Astoria wouldn't mind it so much if they didn't have to rely on a piece of wood in between their legs to keep them up.

If only flying carpets were legal, she thought.

Once they reached the top of the pitch the views were amazing.

"This is beautiful," Astoria said in awe.

"Not as beautiful as you," Harry replied.

"You can't even see me," she snorted.

"It doesn't matter. You're always beautiful to me."

"Have I ever told you I love you?" Astoria asked emotionally.

"Everyday," he replied softly. "Shall we go down now?"

"Yes."

They started descending slowly, but when they reached the top of the stands Harry went into a dive.

Astoria screamed until he pulled them up a few feet off the ground.

"You should've warned me that you were going to do that," she growled.

"Would you have let me though, love?"

"Of course not! You could have crashed-"

Harry cut her off by kissing her squarely on the mouth.

"I love you too, and I would never do something like that if I thought you would get hurt," Harry told her.

"I know you wouldn't, and that's what I love about you," Astoria said pulling him closer for another kiss.
