The noise of the muggle airport was only a quiet murmur to her ears, too preoccupied with the thoughts of longing for what she now considered to be her home. She stood on her own, a young child waiting for the plane that would be taking her back to her family in Germany. She sat down for the long wait clutching onto her ticket, the words of which were by now completely familiar to her. Staring out of one of the many windows, she tried to occupy her time by watching as the airplanes took off, the light of the moon and stars reflecting on the metal bodies. She would miss Hogwarts, but she knew it was out there waiting for her to come back at the start of a new year.

She decided, then and there, as she waited for her plane to be called, that she would always remain close to Hogwarts. At twelve years old she had already decided on her career path, and she had the stubbornness to see it through to the end regardless of what other people would think. Her parents wouldn't like it, but as soon as she came of age she would move to England and start her life there – a life that she had high hopes for.
