She had walked down this street everyday for the last month. She had recently gotten a new job at her mothers company. She answered phones and answered questions. She would enjoy her job better though, if her mother hired men. Sialeeds sighed as she glanced around at the busy old men around her and grimaced 'Not a single good looking guy... I need to get out more.' She thoughts as she turned down another sidewalk. Her eyes land on HIM, the man from the flower shop. Now that was a hot man. If only he would notice her. With a firm huff she walks across the street, intent on buying a bouquet for her mother. If only to meet him, that is. She stepped up onto the sidewalk and promptly tripped.
Her eyes slammed shut as she expected to make contact with the granite, only to be pleasantly surprised when warm arms wrapped around her shoulders and stomach. She was pulled back into a warm chest and a jolt like electricity went through her whole body. It wasHIM. He put her steadily back on her feet with a smile "Are you alright, madam?" She turns as red as a cherry as she turns to him "I'm fine, thank you." His eyes twinkle "I'm Gizel Godwin." He offers her his hand. She smiles back "Sialeeds Falena." She takes his hand but is pleasantly surprised when he brings it to his lips. When he releases her hand she awkwardly puts her hand at her side. He turns to the shop "Looking to buy something?" She nods "A bouquet of Lillies for my mother's office. Maybe some forget-me-nots for my own."
His smile widens, if just a bit "Ah! Come in for a moment. I'll make them up." The two walk in to the shop together. He quickly heads about making two small bouquets of 10 flowers each. She watches him "So, I take it this is a family business?" He shakes his head "No. My father owns a big business on Wall Street. I bought the store for a friend, I work for her now." Sialeeds titls her head curiously "Your girlfriend?" Gizel viciously shakes his head "Oh no! Not at all! We just grew up together!" Sialeeds actually lets the relief show and Gizel blushes at the prospects that presents. He finished up the two bouquets and holds them up "10 dollars and dinner on Friday." Sialeeds reaches for her purse before pausing, her eyes slowly turn to meet his before she smiles "6 o'clock?" She pulls a ten dollar bill from her purse and hands it to him. He nods "Dinner on Friday at six it is." He takes the money and puts it in the cash register before handing her the flowers. Sialeeds quickly heads out of the store and giggles as she makes her way to work.
