What can I say, we're having a lot of snow days and I have free time.

"I hate school! I hate it! I don't want to go anymore daddy!" Little Laura Sparrow stormed into the house with a frown on her face. Jack Sparrow had been working on a map in the back room when his daughter stormed in. He had finally made it back on land to return to his wife, Christina and their daughter Laura. Jack sighed and left his activity to tend to his daughter. He found her on the couch with her head in the pillow.

"What's wrong?" She looked up at him with a frown on her pretty face. She had blond hair like her mother and slightly tan skin. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean. When Jack looked at her he saw his wife.

"I hate school!" She threw her head back onto the pillow. Jack sat down at her feet and pondered this. From what Christina said, Laura started going to the school house down the road to learn to read and write and she loved it. She loved the teacher Miss. Haworth, she loved her friends and she loved to learn new things and come back to show her mom and dad.

"Why the sudden change in heart?" Laura sat up with a pout and let the story spill out of her lips like water.

"Tommy Fisher said that girls shouldn't be able to learn because they're so stupid that they wouldn't learn anything. Then I said that he was a liar and he pulled my hair so I punched him just like you told me too. His nose started bleeding so Miss. Haworth sent him home then put me in the corner. Me! I told her I hated her before I left and ran straight here." Jack pulled her up onto his lap and let her rest her head on his chest.

"Laura, you know that you were wrong for doing those things."

"You're tak-" Jack put a finger on her mouth before she could finish.

"I'm not saying they were right though. Sure, Tommy was wrong to say those things but you shouldn't have punched him, that's why Miss. Haworth put you in the corner. It also isn't nice to tell people you hate them. Understand?" Laura nodded silently. "Now, when you go to school tomorrow, you go up to Miss. Haworth and apologize."

"Okay." Laura groaned.

"I also want you to apologize to Tommy." Laura grimaced. "But tell him as well that girls are just as smart if not smarter than boys and that if he touches you again Jack Sparrow will be seeing him." Laura's eyes lit up.

"Okay!" Her voice was perky now. She jumped off of Jack's lap and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you daddy." He smiled at her warm words and repeated them back to her.

"I love you too sweetheart, now go and practice writing." She nodded and grabbed her satchel. "And Laura."

"Yes daddy?"

"Don't tell people that I told you to punch anyone." Laura smiled again and nodded before running off to the kitchen table to do her work.

Jack applauded himself for successfully solving a problem as he sat down with his daughter and helped her practice.

Go Jack! It feels a little weird because I'm also writing another fan fic that's a Jack/oc with different characters. Lol, weird. It's likethe battle of the OC's.
