A deeper look into the scene from Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2. Meh... it's an old fanfic I wrote. It's in Raziel's POV. I did this in the middle of school. Amazing huh? I remembered all the movements and Dialogue miles away from my PS2!
It's only part 1. Please Read and Review Kain and Raziel fans! I want to know if anyone would like to see more of my work. If so drop me a line!
Please be open-minded, I do take constructive critisism.

I paused, looking across the dark waters to the canyons beyond. Perhaps if I continued past these ruins remains I would find the key to escaping this wasteland, and returning to a time when Janos Audron still lived.
A noise followed by a few foot steps behind me. I turned swiftly to see Kain, walking leisurely toward me. "Oh No! Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens. I don't think I have the stomach for it." I commented sarcastically. His laugh, no matter how soft, sent chills up my spine, and throughout my entire body. "No Drama this time Raziel." he said amused. He stopped beside me and gazed out over the surroundings I had been surveying. His tone was keenly interested and yet….. Amused.
I couldn't help but look over at him. He was as handsome as always, his milky-white hair flowing in the breeze and growing almost as damp as mine from the pouring rain. Thank God He hadn't made eye contact yet. Not a sound except the pitter of raindrops. I shuffled uneasily, shifting my feet in the mud. This was driving me mad! It was uncomfortable enough already. I never thought I would trust him again, but I rejected my emotions bitterly. I was probably leaving myself vulnerable for further deceit.
"You are persistent! Crossing time like this to follow me, still waiting for that coin of yours to land on its edge!" I couldn't stand it! This was all just a game to him wasn't it? Just flipping a damn coin and using me to win his little gamble. I was so consumed in rage it nearly clouded my thoughts…but then he turned his head to me slowly "I'm biding my time" his voice was soft. I felt the warm gaze of his golden eyes upon me. My heart skipped a beat. It was as if he had kindled me like the wick of candle, and my anger melted away like wax. Damn Him! Was I blushing? If I was I hoped he wouldn't notice. "I see that Moebius has played a little trick on you." I quickly broke eye contact, sure I was blushing, and turned my gaze to the ground. I replied as casually as I could "Yes….he clearly doesn't want me to meet this Janos Audron." Kain began to fix his glove, pulling it tighter to his claw. "Perhaps…"he said thoughtfully.
"Or maybe he merely hoped that it would harden your heart against me, to see this waste land which I single handedly authored."
A ping of emotion washed over me. Did he even care if I hated him? I turned now, with enough courage built up to face him." My heart doesn't need hardening Kain...If I even suspected that destroying you would make any difference, I would do it this instant." His laugh again, but even louder and more amused than before. I felt like a fool, he probably already knew my act. "I knew you'd see through them Raziel". I was flattered
