Christmas had never really been a holiday that Gogo invested in. At least, not as much compared to most, and definitely not anywhere near as much as her girlfriend. When the holidays came rolling by, Honey seemed to revert right back to the personality of a small child that was just waiting for Christmas Day. Each year the group's chemist would go around decorating the lab with little red and green lights, hang garland on any surface that wasn't used, and leave other little decorative pieces on most any other space she didn't already get to. But, with the two of them now sharing a single apartment, Tomago got to see just how bad it got.

Rolling a small pink wad of gum around her mouth, Gogo paused to stare up at the tree that the two of them had picked out earlier that evening. It was the final thing they had to do, by Honey's instructions. Though, as far as she was concerned, the apartment was filled with far more Christmas nicknacks and goodies than it needed. Really, a holiday story might as well have vomited into the home of the two women. But, despite the fact that it wasn't exactly 'her thing', she couldn't say she completely minded. It had been a bit fun, actually.

"I got the liiiights," came a cheery, sing-song voice as Honey came hobbling into the room, her arms filled with a tangled mess of cords and lights. With a gleeful giggle, the woman unceremoniously dropped the mass of cords down onto the floor in front of the tree, pushing her glasses back up her nose before turning to look at Gogo.

Despite herself, the shorter woman couldn't stop the amused snort that left her as she only gave a small shake of her head as she lifted her fingers to her lips, pulling the blob of gum out of her mouth before pressing it down against the top of the nearby table before she crouched down to work on untangling the horrid mess.

"Really? On the table?"

Looking up at the question, the adrenaline junkie stared at her for a moment. "…What," she asked with a rather exaggerated shrug of her shoulders, her answer apparently not being the one Honey was looking for as the woman raised an eyebrow before gesturing to the wad of gum left on the table. "Oh. I'll get it later, don't worry. I always do, Honey Bunny."

With only a roll of her eyes and a playful flick to the laughing woman's head, the two got to work on their final project. Of course, the hardest part of said project was getting the wires and cords of the bright, decorative lights untangled. These things hadn't been touch since the previous year and it was a disaster zone to say the least. It was worse than Fred's little space of filth he had in the lab.

But, soon enough the couple had a colorfully glowing tree standing before them.

"Alright, so we done now, yeah," Gogo asked as she glanced over at the blonde who held a bright golden star in her hands. Right, the star at the top. She had forgotten about that. Shrugging her shoulders, she moved to step out of the way of the woman, allowing her to reach up and place it at the top. But, it didn't seem like that was what she had in mind. The star was quickly pushed into her arms instead. "Um, Honey, what are you—"

With a startled squeak, Gogo was suddenly lifted off of the ground as Honey did her best to lift her up high enough for her to put the star on.

"Go on, put it on."

"Wh-What are you— Put me down— Honey, I mean it put—"

Before either of the two were able to do much of anything, Honey quickly lost her balance as her girlfriend squirmed in her hands. With a startled yelp from the both of them, the two fell into the tree, the small, flimsy branches of the plant doing nothing to stop their fall.

"…You're putting the star on next time," grumbled Gogo as the two laid there on the floor, covered with pine needles and tangled together in a new mess of Christmas lights.
