I'm sooooo sorry! I haven't updated Faithful in a while but I have a writer's block concerning it but as soon as it's gone it'll be up. This came into my head and it won't get out so I'll post it and see what response I get so without further ado...The story…

Halef Seif didn't want to admit it, but She was the reason he never married. He was always waiting for some woman to equal Her. That woman never came. He never realized the depth of his love until The Woman Who Rides Like A Man came back with the news She was dead.

He mourned Her for weeks .Then he realized that he, Halef Seif, would meet Her, The Sorceress of Alonis, in the Peaceful Realms. It would take a while; if the grief didn't kill him first, but he's see Her again one day.

He still mourns Her and wonders what how long it'll be. The only thing that keeps him alive is knowing She would of wanted him to live on, and he'd see Her again someday.

It wasn't until The Woman Who Rides Like A Man brought the news that She was dead that he realized that she was perfection embodied.

So if anyone asks Halef why he never married he'll just shake his head mournfully and say "I never married because I lost the one I loved the most, and no one will ever take Her place in my heart." Then he'd walk away, wondering what it'd be like to see Her just one last time….

On his grave marker, located next to her at his request, it read,

Halef Seif

The man who loved

The Sorceress of Alonis

I have no clue if Alonis or Halef Seif is spelled right, but there it is the story, drabble, one-shot whatever you want to call it that has been in my mind. Maybe just maybe it'll get me off this dratted writer's block.
