When Elsa left, it took a good 12 hours before the castle noticed. 36 hours passed before the rest of Arendelle had known. People were worried. Search parties cautiously ventured through the woods, families sheltered themselves in their homes fearing the ice queen would return with evil in mind. Anna quickly seized control trying to calm the situation. She would give short speeches from the balcony to the townsfolk. Whenever Anna reentered the castle, she too was as worried as the rest of the crowd.

It was the beginning of week 2 when it happened. Anna lied in her bed, eyes wide open in anguish and heartache. 'where was she?' A thud from the hallways rang throughout. Anna quickly flew up. She ripped the covers from her body and sprinted to the door. She clung to the door and listened through. All was silent minus the distance footsteps. She soon became ecstatic. Her sister had returned; she just felt it. She slowly opened the door and scampered through the halls like earlier years. Her long nightgown flapped in the air. She stopped by the art gallery. Something felt peculiar about it. She stood halted in the hallway almost to the stairs. She thought for a moment and went in. It was darker than usual. The lanterns seemed to have been out. Which was normal, but it was far more darker. She creeped towards the window. Something was drawing her there. When she reached the window, She saw a figure standing in the square standing over what looked to be her sister. Anna gasped once and ran for the door.

The room around her was definitely different. Black spots where pictures should've been. She ran and ran, but the she never once got closer to the door. She gave up and a black mass soon melted up from the centre of the room. Her heart started racing faster than it had ever before. The seemingly endless blackness started to encase her. It felt hot. She stood in pure fear and awe. A humanoid figure started to appear. She couldn't make out much, but it spoke.

"You are Anna of Arendelle, no? Sister to Elsa, the queen?" His slimy voice rolled throughout. "You know of her whereabouts?" Anna couldn't speak. She backed as far as she could into the window. She gripped the bracelet around her hand and removed it. The shadow only moved closer. Yellow eyes appeared in the dark. "She would not mind you, then running off with me."

Something then hit her in the legs and she fell to her knees. "Such a delicate creature," it roared. "I'll be gentle." Anna could no longer see anything. She reached for anything but darkness. She soon felt drowsiness consume her. She couldn't fight it. Whispers through the air rocked her to sleep in the darkness' arms.

"Wait, Elsa…" Her quiet screams reached no ears. "He's.. help, me…" The dark quickly melted away taking helpless little Anna with it. The room returned to normal, but soon caught fire. Everything was aflame and a small bracelet lie in the middle.
