Blue Midnight of the Green Butterfly

Poem by Kazuki

Disclaimer: -Man does not belong to me. (The poem does.)
? x ? pairing. Read to find out.

The green one flutters to a limp leaf,
A clear drop of liquid drips down onto her wings;
Like a tiny glass sphere, it shatters on contact.
The winged beauty approaches the glowing light,
The one which shines through the both of them.

The moon, the light, the hope between them,
It brims through Midnight's strict manner,
It shatters his wall of thick black ice.
A whirlwind escapes his sighing mouth,
While his butterfly floats towards him.

The man turns towards his winged angel,
The angel places her hand in his outstretched palm.
Another raindrop falls, this time onto Midnight's stiff nose.
And Viridian Butterfly giggles,
With a voice as sweet as nectar,
Her wings batting gently in the minty wind.

He is sturdy, he is order, he needs no support.
She is fragile, she is gently, she needs his reassuring hand.
His heard vows to protect her at any cost,
She herself vows to eliminate all threats towards him.

The girl's winged feet rise her into the air,
The boy's brittle build pounces him onto a branch.
They stand shoulder to shoulder,
Hand in hand,
Dark hair flowing.

The quiet swordsman kisses his girl's hand softly,
And bids her goodnight.
Her gently lips,
Which arc into a tight grin,
Direct themselves back at him.

Midnight watches his butterfly's wing mounted feet soar away,
The sky dancer can only look back at his steel gaze.
Their eyes meet,
As Viridian Butterfly and Midnight Blue.

AN: I bet you've already found out who it is. And...also note the character selection and title XD
I'm rather pleased with this.
