A/N: This is just a stupid little parody I came up with a while back. Don't read it – it's really pathetic. I have no idea why I'm posting it.
I have a question: Does anyone know where I can post a slash challenge?

Colours of the wand – a parody

You think I'm an ignorant Muggle-lover,

And you've so much money; I guess it must be so,

But still I cannot see,

If the stupid one is me,

How can there be so much that you don't know?

You don't know…

You think you own all the walls you walk through,

The castle is just a dead thing you can claim,

But I know every rock and tree and creature,

Has a life, has a spirit, has a name.

You think the only people who are people,

Are the people who can do spells as well as you,

But if you walked the footsteps of a Muggle,

You'll learn things you never knew; you never knew.

Have you ever heard the were-wolf cry to the full moon?

Or asked the big black dog why it's Grim?

Can you sing with all the voices of the phoenix?

Can you paint with all the colours of the wand?

Can you paint with all the colours of the wand?

Come run the hidden trail of the Forbidden Forest,

Come taste the Sun-sweet berries of the House-Elves,

Come roll in all the riches all around you,

And for once, never wonder what they're worth.

The half-blood and the Pureblood are my brothers,

The wizard and the Muggle are my friends,

And we are all connected to each other,

In circle; in a hoop that never ends.

How high does a whomping willow grow?

If you cut it down,

Then you'll never know.

And have ever heard the were-wolf cry to the full moon?

For whether we are white or copper haired,

We need to sing with all the voices of the phoenix,

Need to paint with all the colours of the wand.

You can own the earth and still,

All you own is earth until

You can paint with all the colours of a wand.
