Hello there! So I haven't written anything in months, and I feel like a terrible person for it. So here is a short poem I wrote to keep my brain moving.
I wrote this poem about the Clone Wars, from the view of Ahsoka. I know, it ain't great. But I'm happy with it. =)
Anyways... love you all, and don't forget to review!
Taking on the galaxy is hard
When all you have is a Papier-mâché lightsaber.
When life throws you somewhere strange and foreign
And you have to triple your pace, just to keep up
When they tell you something, and expect you to believe it
But then turn things around, and expect you to follow
When those expectations are all you really have
And you live and breathe for their desires
When your job is so much bigger than you
Bigger than them
When you stand on the battlefield and the world seems so quiet
And those expectations become much harder to succumb to
Because your lightsaber isn't made of Papier-mâché anymore
And expectations become orders
Suddenly, the line between right and wrong disappears
And everything is merely a fight for survival
When you give up your code and all you've known
And that voice inside tells you to stop
But orders are orders
And the peace keepers aren't peace keepers
And you wish your light saber was made of Papier-mâché
So you couldn't take the lives of the victims of war
