Kenny laid on his sad excuse for a bed, one leg hanging off the edge while the other remained on the mattress. He blankly stared up at the ceiling, thinking to himself about many different things. He hadn't died yet today, and it was getting pretty late. How would death find him today? Or would it give him a break? Wouldn't that be nice.

The blonde had a cigarette in between his index and middle finger. He hadn't taken an exhale for awhile, just letting the smoke linger along with the smell. It blended in with the rest of the atmosphere that reeked of old alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and more cigarette stench. His nostrils were used to it by now, but it was a constant reminder of how shitty his home life was.

Kenny wasn't very happy right now. He'd never admit it, but he's depressed. He tried not to show it, especially whenever Karen was around. He needed to be a good role-model for his younger sister, because God knows Kevin wasn't going to be. But really, was be cut out to be a good role-model? He cursed like a sailer, smoked, got wasted, occasionally did illegal drugs, and even committed crimes. On top of being depressed, he had to deal with the constant dying. He was to the point he accepted death as it came, but the fear stayed alive within his heart no matter how many times he lost his life.

Maybe it was better that he died and came back. Sure, it was extremely mentally scarring... but then he didn't have to self harm or anything stupid like that and have to worry about cutting too deeply or shooting and missing. He'd always just die and come back.

"..." He sighed and put the cigarette out before dropping it to the floor. "Come on already..." Slowly, painfully slowly death welcomed him into his cold embrace.

All of these negative thoughts gave him an adrenaline rush. He WANTED to die right now. Oh, how he wanted to slip away right now... not feel anything until he mysteriously reappeared back in his bed as if nothing had ever happened. He continued to stare at the ceiling, the cracks above silently taunting him. "Heh..." Slightly clutching at his chest, he felt a sudden and harsh pain within that area. A heart attack? No, this wasn't a heart attack.

Ocean blue eyes went wide as his breath suddenly shortened, his lungs deciding to shut down without a single warning. Lastly his heart stopped beating, and his mind numbed as his consciousness disappeared into nothingness.

Broken Heart Syndrome? Yeah, that was it.

What a way to die.
