A/N: If you're following my Franada fic "Notice Me" I'd like to apologize for how long it's taking me to update that. I have a serious case of writer's block and I just don't know what to write next. If you have any ideas or questions or just want to say hi, feel free to message me!
The world's conference was going a lot better than expected this year. Not only were there no unnecessary fights, but neither Alfred nor Gilbert had spoken out of turn. Maybe it was the fact that they were at Vash's place. Or maybe it was because Francis was catering. Either way, everything was going smoothly.
That was, of course, until the meeting ended. Once the nations could speak freely amongst themselves, Alfred and Arthur sat down at a quiet table in the corner of the overlarge room. As soon as they had begun making light conversation about some of Alfred's new music "idols", a very pissed-off looking Matthew stormed up to the duo.
"Hey Mattie, what's u-" The greeting was soon stuck in Alfred's throat as when he looked up, he couldn't believe his eyes. Matthew had grabbed Arthur's suit collar and shoved their lips together. The Brit looked taken aback, but made no move to pull away. He eventually let his eyes drift shut and leaned into the younger nation, but, when he was just about to deepen the kiss, Matthew tore away from him, sending a piercing glare in his brother's direction.
"Mine." He growled and then proceeded to quickly walk away.
Alfred was left dumbfounded. His mouth opened and closed, almost like a fish, as he glanced back and forth between Matthew and Arthur. The latter of which was staring into space with a dreamy look on his bright red face.
Any country who attended the conference would agree that it had gone much better than expected. Though many had noted the look on the great America's usually over-confident face as he exited the hall; a look of utter devastation and confusion. There was also an increased siting of Canada, who left smirking, pulling a blushing Britain behind him. What a productive meeting indeed.
