Behold what happens in my mind during the holidays!

I don't own Stargate in any way. It all belongs to MGM.

Mistletoe and Chocolate

Samantha Carter walked steadily towards the lab, a file clutched in her hand. She was determined to finish this report before she left. She was going to be spending part of her Christmas leave with her brother and didn't want to be constantly reminded that she had work waiting for her.

"Samantha!" She turned to see Vala trot up to her, a catalogue clutched in her hand. "Could you order something for me?"

Sam wasn't too surprised by this. The former thief still didn't have a credit card so she had been asking everyone to help her with the lack of personal items. So far only Sam had helped the woman in her 'plight'. "What is it?"

Vala gave her a mischievous grin. "A Christmas present for Daniel."

"Let me see…" Vala flipped through the pages until she came to the item. Sam stared for a moment before looking at her friend. "You're sure about this?" Vala nodded excitedly. "Okay."

The woman hugged Sam. "Thank you." Vala ran down the hall towards the elevator. "You won't regret this!"

The physicist shook her head. "I hope so…"

Break

Daniel could only stare. Sitting on his desk was a chocolate penguin, approximately a foot tall. As the archeologist stepped closer to examine it he saw that someone had put miniature wire glasses on the beak.

Just when he thought this couldn't get weirder someone grabbed him from behind and he felt lips being pressed against his cheek. He let out a small shout of surprise before his captor pulled back so he could see them.

"Vala? What are you doing?"

She was grinning wickedly as a bit of mistletoe bobbed over her head, attached to a red plastic headband. "I'd think that would be obvious Daniel." She lightly tapped him on the nose before kissing him again, this time on the mouth. "I'm celebrating Christmas!"

She released him and skipped out of the room. Cam stared down the hall at the skipping woman. "I don't want to know." He began walking in the opposite direction. "I really don't want to know…"
