Mareep stared at her lover expectantly. What on earth did he bring her in to the middle of the forest for? She much prefers the outer edge. Endless grass patches, further distance between trees, sun rays catching the ground in the most breathtaking way... pretty much the polar opposite of this thick forest. The dense greenery was making her feel rather claustrophobic.

"I wanted to show you something," Luxio whispered.

Mareep nodded in response, torn between interest and wanting to run the fuck out and start frolicking under the sun - you know, where you can actually see the sky?

"I can't do this anywhere but here. The humans will see."

Ah, okay, Mareep understands. Humans are filthy beings, catching pokémon in those... thingamajigs.

"You might be surprised, though."
"I'm sure I can handle it."

Luxio wandered a few steps away from Mareep and closed his eyes, stance as if he were ready to battle. A growl of concentration was heard, and Luxio started to shudder.

What Mareep expected, was a burst of raw power that would cut trees within range in half. What she witnessed instead, was Luxio showered in glittering, powdered sparks.

A/N:Not going to lie, this is one of my favourite prompts. I don't even like Twilight. Something's wrong with me.
