The Land of Stories and Harry Potter Crossover
Alex
Alex was still getting used to life in the Fairy Tale world after Conner had left. It was strange not seeing him every day at school, eating dinner together. She missed him, Bob and their Mom so much! At least she had her Grandmother to keep her company.
Her days were filled with lessons, literal unicorns, and new experiences. She was learning so fast and was having the time of her life! If she had a bit of downtime, Alex took to watching the archway she had seen her brother use to transport back to the Otherworld too long ago. The curtain in it fluttered lightly- even though there was no breeze. She assumed- like so many other things in the Fairy Kingdom- that it was magic.
Everything was fine until one night in June. She was sitting by the archway, thinking about Conner and her Mom, when suddenly, a man fell through the curtain! He had long shaggy hair, and a rather handsome face. A bit arrogant, and oddly familiar.
He stood up quickly and held his wand out, as if waiting for an attack, before realizing that he didn't know where he was.
"Who are you?" Alex yelped, she was as surprised as the strange man, "Where did you come from?" Before he could answer Alex, the man transformed into a shaggy black dog and ran down the tower stairs.
Harry
Even though the battle in the Department of Mysteries had long since passed, Harry was still struggling getting over Sirius's death. Sirius was the closest thing he had ever had to a parent, so it made sense that he was upset. He missed the daily owls he would receive from his godfather, telling him what he was doing and asking about Harry. It almost felt like having a family.
The Dursleys were not keen on talking to Harry, so he had no way of getting his anger at Bellatrix out, other than yelling at Hedwig. He had yelled so much she would fly away for hours at a time.
Usually Hedwig returned with nothing but a dead rat our mouse in her beak, but tonight something was different. There was a girl with her! A girl a few years younger than Harry- carrying a magic wand! He was amazed, as far as he knew, he was the only magical person within ten miles of this place.
She landed on the ground next to Hedwig's cage and said, "Are you Harry Potter?" Harry nodded and the girl continued, "You knew a man named Sirius Black, did you not?"
"Yes, he was my god-father," replied Harry. How could she know this? He thought.
"I think I've found him! I come from a place called The Land of Stories. One night I was sitting in a tower by an archway, when a man who looks exactly like Sirius Black's description fell through!"
Alex
The boy who she knew to be Harry stared back at her. "What are you talking about? Where did you see him? Who are you?"
Alex found it easiest to just answer his questions. "I saw Sirius fall through a portal from the Otherwo- I mean your world. He must have fallen through the portal on your end, and came out in The Land of Stories. And my name is Alex Baily, pleasure." She finished as she stuck out her hand.
A petrified Harry shook it quickly. "Can I see him?"
"Ummm…maybe, if we can find another portal back to The Land of Stories."
"If you got here, can't you just take me back?"
"I had to ask my grandmother to open a portal for me (she's the Fairy Godmother). I told her I was going back to see my brother Conner and my Mom," Alex mumbled off, and then suddenly straightened up, "Wait! Weren't you there when Sirius fell through? Do you know where that portal is?"
"I do." Harry replied
