Quite possibly the most pointless/random thing ever.
But, as always, I had to do it.
When somebody you love dies, it's so hard to say good bye. You finally realize what you'll be missing and it breaks your heart right in two. It's so hard not to be able to see them again, be in their company, see them smile, hear them laugh.
But all you have to do when somebody you love dies is remember one thing. They're moving on. You will never know if it's a better place like people say. All you can do is hope and pray for that. But one thing you can believe is that they will remember you; you as you are right this instant. You are still alive, and they are becoming a new person. Part of you will still be connected with them.
They will be new as they will then. But since you are still here, they can still feel you even when they're gone. There's a part of you as you are with them always. They will remember you. But then when you die and join them in their new world, you won't remember them at all. The connection between you is lost. But they'll remember you, alright. Know that it's their duty to remember you and look for you when you join them in the next life. You can always keep that hope with you, knowing that they have you in the back of their minds. They can feel you when you join them, and they will be compelled to find you. And when they do, everything is just right again.
So when someone you love with all of your heart passes on, all you have to do is close your eyes and say to them, wherever they are, this:
"See you in the next life."
