This was written for Romance and Musicals, who's been such a sweetheart to me for a really long time. I remember her all the way back during Knocked Up! Over a year ago! I can't believe you've stuck with me this long, thank you! :D

Carly can't remember her mom. Spencer likes to talk about what a great woman she used to be. She was kind and considerate, smart and hard-working, optimistic and determined.
He doesn't like to say the bad things. Neurotic to the point of insanity. Short tempered. Unable to control her emotions. Sick.
Carly wishes she could go and see her mom. But, for one, she's in Canada, miles and miles away. For another, her mom doesn't know who she is any better than Carly knows her. If they ran into each other on the street, neither would be recognized.
But that scenario would only be possible if her mom was allowed outside. Which, of course, she isn't. The treatment facility up in Vancouver has some pretty strict rules about their patients leaving the premises.
Sometimes, Carly wonders how crazy her mom really is. She was told, when she was younger, that her mom was 'sick' and had to be 'taken away'. Spencer just told her very recently about what was really wrong with her.
Carly also wonders if she and Spencer are crazy, too. And not in the iCarly-ish, fun, good kind of way. In the way her mom is.
She decides it's possible. She's always known that she and Spencer are weird, and more than a little good crazy, and she thinks that maybe that kind of crazy is genetic or something.
Carly wonders when she's going to snap like her poor mother. And hopes she never will. She hopes she can be stronger than that.
At the very least, she'll try.

How's my take on Carly's mom? Too out-there?
